About DutchCE

Welcome to the network of the Centers for Entrepreneurship in the Netherlands: DutchCE. Our main purpose is to stimulate an entrepreneurial society. The network has five main aims:

  1. Strengthen entrepreneurship education
  2. Strengthen entrepreneurship research
  3. Apply entrepreneurship education and research (valorisation)
  4. Support policy making
  5. Represent and promote the ecosystem

Students are represented in the student division of DutchCE: Dutch Students for Entrepreneurship (DutchSE). DutchSE aims to bring students and entrepreneurship together. They do this by creating a strong national network of (local) Students & Entrepreneurship Communities to increase the passion, knowledge & resources of student entrepreneurship in the Netherlands.

– Cooperate: look after national cooperation and fostering a community
– Exchange: boost mutual exchange of knowledge and best practices
– Stimulate: stimulate and promote entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education in higher education
– Innovate: bring to the Netherlands or develop new education techniques and methods

– Cooperate: facilitate national cooperation on entrepreneurship research
– Signal: stimulate new research that the community deems relevant to foster an entrepreneurial society
Applied research: start, manage or conduct applied research
– Organise: initiate national or international activities to foster research on entrepreneurship

 

Five ways how we Apply entrepreneurship education and research (valorisation)

– Translate: stimulate applicable insights from science
– Share: share new insights among a diverse audience using different channels
Activate: stimulate active participation in public and private contracts and the public debate
Organise: organise meetings and activities to stimulate knowledge dissemination and a broader debate
Capitalise: capitalise on the added value of entrepreneurship research

– Support: effectively use academic research on entrepreneurship to support policy making
Influence: put important topics related to entrepreneurship on the policy agenda
Advise: operate as a consultative body for government, politics and interest groups
Quality: offer validation and quality control through qualitative benchmarks

– Make visible: increase the visbility of Dutch entrepreneurship research and education
– Promote: international promotion of Dutch entrepreneurship research and education
– Represent: represent the Dutch entrepreneurial ecosystem on national and international level
