The Research Centre for Entrepreneurship & Business Innovation aims to contribute to the improvement of the professional practice and training of professionals on the basis of practice-based research. It provides concrete solutions to the problems that Rotterdam small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) currently encounter at the interface between promoting and hampering factors around innovation in all the facets of their business.
Entrepreneurship into practice
By conducting and assisting in applied research for the economics domain, the research centre supports both students and teachers. The core of the research endeavours, in which the students, teachers, and applied research professors collaborate, is valorisation: the effective application of knowledge for the benefit of the professional practice.
